Will Ramos
Owner/Lead Photographer
Email: will@0bounds.com

For well over fifteen years, Will has combined his passion for visual and audio arts with his equal love for all things computer-related. This unique marriage between “IT Guru” and “Artist” has been a tremendous asset to all clients and companies who have had the pleasure of working with Will over these many years.

For the past 6 years, Will has fully devoted his attention and skills towards the art of photography. Will’s uncanny, “second nature” sense of composition and understanding of light, delivers technically great photos. But it’s his unique understanding and real-world experiences together with “heart and soul” devotion to his work that takes this visual medium to the level of true art that many photographers aspire to but seldom achieve.

Will has quickly become a dominant and noted figure in capturing and documenting the essence of the extreme sport of Adventure Racing through his photography. He lives and thrives in the trenches among the sport’s participants and in doing so has become respected and admired by a vast number of the AR community. It’s this inside view, understanding, and commitment to the athletes that enables Will to consistently create unique photographs that are not only visually stunning, but serve to tell the true story.

As an artist with such talent, devotion, and professionalism- it’s hard not to be recognized. His photographs have been featured in numerous publications world-wide such as: Sports Illustrated, Blue Ridge Outdoors, Metrosports, Central Virginian Newspaper, Runner Triathlete News, Men’s Fitness Magazine, Hooked on the Outdoors, Trail Runner, and various others. Will is also a regular contributing photographer for Adventure Sports Magazine & ASX.

Will is also the lead photographer for some of the top adventure racing companies in the country including Primal Quest, Odyssey Adventure Racing, EX2 Adventures, Ambush Adventure Sports, Don Mann Enterprises, and The A List.

Other projects Will has been involved with include designing the cover and supplying many of the photographs for Neil Jamison’s latest book, “The Thrill of Victory, The Agony of My Feet – Tales From the World of Adventure Racing”. Will also helps promote the sport and motivate athletes through his photography via unique slideshows set to music at various adventure sports training  clinics, race briefings, and awards ceremonies.

Will is also a highly gifted and sought after wedding photojournalist.

His professional affiliation includes membership to the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and  the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA).

Assistant Photographer
Email: brian@0bounds.com

On one of the last days of 1999 Brian Knight picked up his first digital camera at a local Wal-mart. The camera was fairly large, very slow and used floppy disks for film, but he was hooked.

Brian came to work with Will Ramos Photography in 2005 after five years of producomg adventure sport events with EX2 Adventures. Will has helped hone Brian’s skills both behind the viewfinder as well as afterwards in the (digital) dark room. Together they have covered numerous outdoor, adventure sport races (and weddings).

Covering races requires a photographer to think quickly on his feet, to adapt to changing light and angles, and to be comfortable sitting in the hot sun, the pouring rain, or tied to a rock face hundreds of feet in the air. Covering weddings, believe it or not, presents similar challenges especially when attempting a more subtle, less in your face, photojournalistic approach.

It is possible to run into Brian without a camera. He is an avid kayaker, enjoys hiking and mountain biking and spends much too much money expanding his own private library.

Brian’s photos have been published on numerous websites and in publications including: Shape Magazine, The Washington Post, The Express, Metro Sports Washington, and Yahoo! News, Adventure Travel.  He has also exhibited his work in several solo and group shows in the Washington DC area.
