On February 9th, 2008, The Loudoun Symphonic Winds put on a magnificent performance at Stonebridge High School in Ashburn, VA. The performance featured several different works from various composers, including: John Phillip Sousa, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tchaikovsky, and Alan Menken.

Since 1993, the Loudoun Symphonic Winds has been providing concert band performances for the Loudoun County area. Formerly known as the Loudoun Concert Band, Loudoun Symphonic Winds is a mix of high school students, professional musicians and working professionals who have a desire to perform challenging symphonic repertoire for concert band. All concerts are free and open to the public and centered on a particular theme. Those interested in upcoming shows are encouraged to visit their web site.
