Mind Over Matter

This photo (above), captured during the 2004 USARA National Championship Race in French Lick, Indiana, was recently featured as a huge double-page spread in the January 2008 edition of Envy (Houston Life) magazine in the great state of Texas! The article, titled “Mind Over Matter”, talks about Texas teams, the upcoming Primal Quest, and adventure racing in general. This is one of my personal favorite shots that I’ve taken over the years, and it was way cool to see it in such large print. Woot! ;)

Congrats on a great picture seeing some print. I just have to comment that it speaks volumes on where we are today that all the trash floating about in an otherwise pristine environment is not noted. I guess it has just become part of our natural landscape. This is in no way a knock on you, Will - it is indeed a great photo.
