This photo (above), captured during the 2004 USARA National Championship Race in French Lick, Indiana, was recently featured as a huge double-page spread in the January 2008 edition of Envy (Houston Life) magazine in the great state of Texas! The article, titled “Mind Over Matter”, talks about Texas teams, the upcoming Primal Quest, and adventure racing in general. This is one of my personal favorite shots that I’ve taken over the years, and it was way cool to see it in such large print. Woot! ;) 

Whoever came up with the saying, “better late than never”, probably wasn’t a photographer and definitely was not trying to sell calendars.
