Cold Temps Didn’t Stop the Burn!
Unseasonably cold temps in the upper 30’s and the threat of a very cold rain did not deter Backyard Burn competitors from tackling the rugged course at Hemlock Overlook yesterday. With three significant hills on each lap of the course, it did not take long for competitors to warm up. It was a great day of trail running action and a fitting end to the series and to the EX2 racing season!

Backyard Burn Racers Tackle Fountainhead!
Athletes faced a challenging course at Fountainhead yesterday as they competed in the third race of the Fall Backyard Burn Trail Running Series. This beautifully rugged course included tons of twisty single-track hiking trails, some technical hills, and several fun stream crossings. It was a great day of trail running action!
