Henri Cartier-Bresson was a master at capturing the decisive moment on film and he helped pioneer the art form known as photojournalism. Kenny Irby, a photo editor to three Pulitzer Prize-winning projects describes photojournalism as “the craft of employing photographic storytelling to document life.”

 

Will Ramos Photography takes pride in continuing the tradition of the many photojournalists that have come before us. We cover events in order to make photos that tell a story, a story that often even the participants do not fully recognise at the time. We work as unobtrusively as possible in order to catch unguarded moments. We thrive in the fluid dynamics of the day capturing the essence and emotions of each event.

 

Unlike many professional photographers, Will Ramos Photography accepts only a limited number of weddings per year. Doing so allows us to focus on our clients. You will never be lost in the shuffle or suffer from a lack of dedication and the individual attention you deserve.

Video iPod with Slideshow Review of Proofs:

Your personally engraved, 80GB iPod includes every image in your portfolio. You can even view photo slideshows — complete with music — on iPod or on a TV via the optional (not included) iPod AV Cable.  This is a fun way to share your photos with family and friends.


Wedding Albums:

We deal with the world’s foremost companies specializing in award winning wedding album printing. Will Ramos Photography only designs “Magazine-style” wedding albums that perfectly compliment our photo-journalistic style of coverage. The magazine-style medium facilitates the creation of unique, story-telling albums in ways that “traditional” albums simply cannot provide. These wedding albums are beautiful works of art which will be treasured for generations.

 

*Travel:
Travel fees apply for locations 50 miles or more from the Photographer’s Studio in Fairfax, Virginia.  Required travel of 50 miles or more is $1.00 a mile (50 miles = $50.00).
